Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a unique therapy modality we may use when you can’t logic your way out of a habit, or your body keeps doing that annoying thing (like not letting you speak up) even though you really want to do something differently.

EMDR helps people who:

  • Self-identify as People Pleasers

  • Don’t know why they are so anxious, afraid or unable to change - but the internal barrier is real!

  • Experienced a traumatic event and it still feels like it’s in them or they avoid things to not relive it

  • Didn’t get important needs met early on, whether it means feeling safe, loved or valued enough to be their true selves

  • Need more self-compassion, understanding and forgiveness
