People develop different ways to cope, which may cause problems later on. These can be any form of addiction or automatic responses (ranging from anger outbursts to shutting down to people pleasing).

In therapy we will:

    *** Okay, so you know that part of you that you wish would just go away? You’ll learn to appreciate, forgive and control that part of you. You’re skeptic? No worries, you’ll see.

  3. Learn how to nurture the real you so you live a life you look forward to living!

    *** This is what it is really all about in the end. We do the work in therapy so that you can live a life you love!

How Therapy Works

Okay, you’re ready for your first visit with a total stranger to talk about all the things. Eek!

Relax, the first visit is more about getting to know each other and making a game plan, not going deep into the issues yet.

There will be no Dr. Phil style finger pointing, shaming and making you generally hate yourself even more.

  • I’m the Anti-shame therapist. I’m not here to make you feel shittier than you already do.

The next visit is usually an interactive lesson to ensure you understand how your neurobiology impacts your actions, and how to rewire your programming!

From there, well…I need to meet you before I know what comes next. After all, you are a unique human, not a robot.
